TRIPLE THREAT Trailer (2017) Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Scott Adkins Action Movie HD [Official Trailer] © 2017 - Well Go USA Entertainment Comedy, Kids, Family and ...

At the start of the trailer we see the use of transitions that have been used welcoming the events into the scene. The first scene consists of fade to black flickering shots that are present at the start, which helps to add suspense to what is occurring, which is someone at night who is riding an elephant in what appears to be a small village/neighborhood. The use of the music is centered on drum beats and correlated very well with each of the black flickering transitions, the beats were on time and were very in-sync with the motions of it

In the next scene the audience finally gets to see the face of one of the main characters in this film, the use of colors in this scene are very dark and yellow and we see that the main character has given money to someone, these colors showcases that the main character is an location where he should not be, as he gives money to someone and we as an audience got no indication of who it may be, due to the lighting. The next scene we see is the main character entering what appears to be a busy environment, hearing noises of people cheering, followed by a quick sped up transitions showing us (the audience) the main focal point of the scene, an area where two people will be fighting, first the arena appears to empty, then we see two people beginning to fight, the main character and his opponent. We see the opponent preparing himself and the main character looking quite lost and some-what intimidated. We now know as audience that the main character was in-fact paying someone to partake in a fight, however the reason behind fighting is left unknown to the audience.  The colors in this scene are a mixture of yellow and black with a orange tint added on it, all together these colors symbolize many things and once yellow is mixed with darker shades it can change from a happy go lucky color to a dark, dirty and grimy color. As this scene continues we as the audience also gain a lot more information about the relationships in which these characters have in the narrative, before the fight begins we see a close up shot of someone who looks concerned about what is going to take place, the way this shot was made it looks like the main character and this person have some sort of relations (likely possibility) they could be friends.

As the fight begins more suspense is added as the flickering black transitions appears again through each kick, punch and strangle that is taking place and with the sound along with it being the same as the beats we heard in the first opening scene. ''Do you remember me'' the main character says to his opponent, whilst strangling him now we know that these two people fighting also have relations with each other, we also know that this fight is not between two strangers, and with that communication they fight again with the other opponent getting the last hit, kicking him.

In the 3rd scene we see such stereotypical codes and conventions of an action trailer, through the use of sounds and images. We see guns and the sounds of guns being used, we see people in military type outfits and masks, firing at one another - with people getting hit. One girl is fearing for her life and starts pushing herself to run away, looking back whilst running.

- (Frantic chases is another code and convention of the action genre)

Then we see two men getting out a car, one being a white man and a black man, to a woman with a rocket launcher proceeding  to destroy a door in order to get access to trespass the building (explosions then take place), but instead of wearing what the other shooters were wearing they were wearing black bulky armored suits.

- Explosions ( ANOTHER STEREOTYPICAL CODE AND CONVENTION OF AN ACTION GENRE)

As the scene progresses we hear this being said '' we find them and we kill em, no messing about'' we see that the two men that were leaving the car and the woman with the rocket launcher have alliances together and the people they want to kill is the opponent in the first scene and the woman who was running for her life, because the opponent and the woman

also have alliances together. After this scene we see so much scenes full of suspense and exaggeration, which is common in an action genre film. We see fight scenes, fast car journeys, to one of the assassins (the white guy leaving the car) running up to a moving car and smashing it, followed by the credits of the actors and actresses in this film.

After this we begin to see more fight scenes that are apparent in the whole film and at the end we see the main character and the opponent and the concerned crowd guy from the beginning walking together in slow motion with guns, showing us that the main character is not as innocent as he was portrayed in the beginning as well with the person in the crowd, when in-fact they could be working with the bad guy.
